I’m Richard, Chartered Building Surveyor and Director of RB Surveyors. After completing my studies in the City of Liverpool I went on to work with various commercial property consultants in London, Manchester and Chester. Along the way I gained extensive commercial property knowledge and industry experience.
I formed RB Surveyors in 2012, a company that adds value, is service focused and houses a fantastic team ethos by all working together. Since day one we have a proven record of delivering quality, commercial reports. We now deliver our services and add value to the largest retailers, investment companies and local authorities throughout the UK using a confident growth strategy.
Communication is a key driver for me and the company, we add value by clearly explaining matters, options and outcomes. We excel by delivering concise feedback, at the right level, within hours of attending site.
When I get some free time, I love spending time with my family and travelling the world, especially the city breaks.
Ian is both a Chartered Building Surveyor and Chartered Project Management Surveyor with over 30 years of experience in commercial property and construction.
I’m Darren and I’m the Associate Director at RB Surveyors, leading our team of Surveyors. Since graduating from Liverpool John Moores in 2011, I have gained valuable client-side experience, with particular emphasis on project management within Healthcare and Retail. Now a Chartered Building Surveyor and having been at RB Surveyors since 2016, I have experience in all aspects of building surveying; however, I have a strong focus on contract administration, pre-acquisition/pre-lease reporting and reinstatement cost assessments.
My spare time is generally spent as a busy parent and foster carer and we enjoy days out, holidays and trips to the theatre. When I do find spare time to spend with friends, I like to sample the delights of the craft beer world.
Hi, I’m Mark, and I’m a Chartered Building Surveyor here at RB Surveyor Services. Since graduating from Liverpool John Moores University in 2018. I have gained a varied breadth of experience working for commercial property agents and building consultancies in the North West of England. I have experienced all aspects of building surveying, focusing on Schedule of Conditions, Dilapidations, Reinstatement Cost Assessments and Contract administration.
In 2023 I was delighted to have passed my assessment of professional competence, enabling me to become a Chartered Building Surveyor and have the coveted MRICS letters after my name.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing squash, the occasional gym session, cycling (only if followed by the pub) and watching football and boxing.
I am Hollie, a Chartered Building Surveyor at RB Surveyor Services. I have experience in a wide range of building surveying specialties; with a strong focus on contract administration, pre-acquisition/pre-lease reporting and dilapidations. Joining RB Surveyor Services in 2021 has been immensely rewarding, allowing me to engage in diverse and challenging projects, including managing large projects, collaborating with national occupiers, and surveying Listed and Heritage buildings across the UK.
After completing a masters, with a distinction in commercial building surveying at Liverpool John Moores, I worked for a large Liverpool city centre property company before moving over to RB Surveyor Services. One aspect I particularly enjoy about my role is the opportunity to travel extensively and work with a dynamic team. I am grateful to be part of a company that prioritises both professional and personal growth, providing avenues for continuous development.
I live in Chester City Centre and in my spare time I enjoy being around my friends and family, participating in various sports with a hint of competitiveness, and taking advantage of the company’s unlimited holiday scheme to explore new destinations through travel.
I’m Leo and I’ve been a Building Surveyor here at RB Surveyors since 2021. Since Graduating from Liverpool John Moores University I have gained valuable experience working for Property Management and Building Consultancy firms in a number of roles. I have experience of all aspects of Building Surveying with a focus on Contract Administration, Project Management, Schedules of Condition, Pre -Acquisition and Pre – Lease reporting. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy playing tennis, football and guitar when I can.
I’m Josh, I graduated Liverpool John Moores University in 2023 with a 1st Class BSC in Building Surveying.
I joined RB Surveyor Services in 2023, I have already learnt so much from the experienced surveying team here. I have worked in a range of job roles and sectors; this is certainly the most exciting one yet.
I live on the Paradise Peninsula, also known as the Wirral to some. In my spare time I love watching and playing sports, especially Brazilian Jiu Jitsu!

I’m Lucy, a Graduate Building Surveyor from Liverpool John Moores University. I started working at RB Surveyor Services in 2023, it is great to be joining a professional team striving to deliver exceptional services, while starting my journey on completing my chartered professional qualifications.
I live on the breath-taking isle of Anglesey. In my spare time I thoroughly enjoy being outdoors, spending time with friends and family, alongside travelling the world and experiencing new cultures and places.
I’m Kelly and I am the Head of Office Management. I am a dynamic Senior Office Manager well versed in work at Director and Board level. I am mostly responsible for handling all confidential and senior matters, overseeing all offices and ensuring continuity over our excellent service level.
In my spare time outside of work, I love spending time with my family and socialising with friends over a glass of wine.
I’m Laura, my role is to help create a culture and environment that makes employees happy and proud to work here at RB Surveyor Services.
I also provide administrative support to our surveying team, when producing the high-quality reports we are known for.
I’m proud to work in an organisation with such a strong team spirit and with such high standards in our work.
The things that bring me the most joy outside of work are; exploring new places with my wonderful little family, laughter with friends, and good food!
I’m Claire and I work in Business Support.
I love working in an environment where everyone is so clearly valued. I am friendly and approachable, and thrive when given a challenge. I like to think that I am approachable, friendly, and play a key part in creating a positive atmosphere within our offices.
I enjoy working alongside our Surveyor team in creating detailed, accurate reports as well as more recently taking on our Social Media presence and marketing work. I work well under pressure, and thrive in a busy atmosphere.
In my spare time, I love playing with my three children, and enjoy being social with friends. You might even find me on my roller boots, or with a glass of wine, though not normally at the same time!
I’m Debra and I am a temporary Business Support team member. I have many years experience in secretarial and administration roles. I’m looking forward to learning more about commercial surveying and getting involved with the team.
Outside of work I enjoy travel, reading, keeping fit (weather permitting!), and spending time with family and friends.”
I am Loucy, a key member of the administration team at RB Surveyors. Working within a team as dynamic as this, it’s clear we all share the same goal to contribute to the company and work together.
Outside of the office I have many varied interests including music, the arts and travel. However, keeping my three young children in check takes up a lot of ‘free’ time.
