With award winning projects and RICS recognition, our work on historic and listed buildings receives national recognition.
Mindful of budgets, we ensure that all repairs, renovations, alteration works, and design considerations are done in a sympathetic manner and, where appropriate, reversible to ensure original features are retained.
As with all buildings, correct and regular maintenance is essential to prevent costly and widespread repairs. Historic and listed buildings are no different, but they do require an expert knowledge to ensure their history is preserved and correct materials specified.
We balance effective maintenance, repair, project management and protection of your asset, with the critical importance of preserving the UK’s historic building stock for future generations.
With extensive experience and knowledge of historic materials, uses and methods of construction, we work closely with Conservation Officers on projects ranging from repair and redecoration works, to the conversion of vacant upper parts creating self-contained apartments or repurposing to create useable functional space.
Previous projects
Recent historic works undertaken include the conversion of vacant upper parts within the historic Roman City of Chester and the full refurbishment of an early 19th Century place of Worship in North Wales.
We have completed the PPM maintenance inspections of a Grade 1 Listed warehouse and an acquisition survey of a Grade II listed former Church, both in central London.
