PLANNED PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE OF GRADE II LISTED PROPERTY

Working on behalf of the National Waterways, RB Surveyors were instructed to produce a quantified PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) schedule to assist the Trust on expected maintenance costs over a 10 year time period.

The RB team worked closely with the internal property team to conduct a 4 day site survey and produce a detailed PPM report.

Due to the Grade II listed and historic nature of the property, the report also adopted a ‘minimum impact approach’ in order to protect the buildings.

We also advised a schedule of work that would minimise any site closures and avoided any negative impact on the customer experience.

The Canal and River Trust now have a clear and conclusive understanding of the budget required for the buildings and can allocate their budget effectively across both this and their wider projects and developments.
